Cameras
« on: April 16, 2018, 07:23:15 AM »

Here is one for my modifications buddy LX_SS
Just remembered I bought front and rear cameras for the bike.
They display off the mirror so just fitted them but won't be able to wire them up until I get back from work.
They should be OK

A few pics but a basic operation to fit . All adapters included and plug and play.
The system seems OK and well worth $120 or $150 whatever it was I paid for it (such a while ago  ::)).
The only reason I remembered I had them was I was thinking about changing my mirrors and thought , I know , I'll fit these  ;D
For LXSS..SS..SS.XS  :D

I bought an old GoPro Hero 3 silver a few weeks ago that I was thinking of mounting permanently.

The advantage of the GoPro is that a stack of accessories exist, such as permanent power. Most action cams can’t run while being charged (dunno why). With the GoPro 3s you can get a mod called a battery eliminator. Some even have waterproof options. So that’s what I plan to do. Conceal a GoPro in a waterproof enclosure, with power from the bike and a USB out, behind the chassis rails sort of peeking out between them.

This one is not brilliant but it was cheap and saved me buying new mirrors , which I would have to because the old ones were rooted .
This has a battery feed and ignition feed so hopefully it's OK .
I'll just have to record when I get an SD card , the standard type not micro which is shame , I have lots of those , I can see then what it's like on a big screen .
I also like the split screen , front and rear .

I think they look interesting, something I would also have some fun messing around with.
