getting ready for new mods
« on: May 09, 2018, 11:56:51 AM »

Thought I would put the wiring in ready for my indicator , halo light and gear change mods .
Just looped off the indicators for the LED mod and put the feed in ready for the halo lights which is just off the park light . I can also use this feed for the gear change mod (being ignition feed) .
Deutsch connectors are always my weapon of choice , for a good reason  ;)
Hopefully the parts come this year  ;D

Nice spitty,

Good chunky wiring and proper deutsche connectors.

Just picked up a cheapo headlight in very good condition so thought I would get it ready for the halo mod .
Just used a hairdryer to soften up the glue and then used a few screwdrivers to gently prize the corners out .
Pretty easy as long as you take your time .
Lashed (soldered) up a couple of wires to the park light so just have to stick the halo's  in and then swap......easy  ;)
I actually bought 2 sets of halo lights on eBay (they came in packs of 2) because I got pissed off waiting for Aliexpress .
May knock up another set too as a spare or just sell em  ;D

After slagging off Aliexpress (although to be fair, they always take forever :() , I just checked my post box and found 2 green LED's I ordered from them.
It was a quick job putting those in after already doing the wiring previously. Bang 2 holes in the plastic , fit a couple of Deutsch  connectors and job done .
No more leaving my indicators on and I think it looks for good 8)
EDIT....I believe this is a good , cheap safety mod that anybody can do and here is the link for the LED's .

Never heard them called "nice" before . Heard them called many other things but never "nice" . That's a first .
