Which bike?  8)
Looks like the grammar police are making a move to take over this forum .
Seen it on other forums but never thought the mods would stoop so low here  .
you've done yourself proud Upside Down !
BTW I was only asking which bike you were referring to .
If I have to use spell check as well as check every sentence for correct grammar here , I am not sure this is the place for me .
I have seen "grammar police" destroy forums before with people afraid to post for fear of being corrected all the time so well done from me .
I thought this was a bike forum and not an English grammar forum ?

Yeah that's kinda dickish. This forum gets like.. a reply a day. Really gotta waste it making a snide remark rather than talk about your bike eh? :-X
I wasn't even talking about my bike . I was talking about his bike .
Be careful about using the term "dickish" here . Grammar police will be out in force soon  :o
Anyway , I just used spell check and also asked my sister , who is a lecturer at Bradford University to check my grammar . Still waiting for her to get back to me but in the meantime , hope I haven't caused the "grammar police" to come out and kick my arse again  :D
What a place this is eh  :o

I know, I was talking to upside down. Rude is a better term. Would be different if it was IM where it's in context but here, people wait days for replies.

If I get banned from here it would probably be for the better. This place doesn't really boast a lot of knowledge, or structure. For instance, everyone here has this notion that the CO screw is untouchable, and if you touch it you will destroy your bike. It's literally an idle mixture screw, and people wonder why 22.5 pilots are too rich, because a poorly constructed service manual says no. I have yet to see anyone here call it an idle mixture screw. I'm afraid if I call it one, I'll probably end up banned too lol.

But I digress. None of this helps the original poster's issue.

I digress but I can't let this one go  ;D
A dog with a bone as they say .
BTW I have done my best to check that the spelling as well as the grammatical content of the above two sentences is/are correct but I/me/my am not perfect and I/me/my do not hold a masters degree in English so apologies in advance if I/me/myself/my have made a mistake ;D
To the grammar police ....I have edited everything a few times to keep you happy but now I give up .
Stick your forum up your arse  >:(
Seriously though , I was here to talk about bikes believe it or not  :o

Don't tar us all with the same brush. It really depends on the person and the sub forum. For example, the vast majority of the 125 section think sticking a K&N cone filter on and adjusting that screw will make the bike in the same league as the 250. Waste of time, leave it alone. On the other hand, someone in the 250 section, rebuilding to a 300cc I think it was, with a real wealth of knowledge, go ahead, you WILL need to touch that screw.

Apologies. I guess I'll just blame a poor search function then, because I looked for information on that screw besides not touching it and no one seemed to give a consistent answer on turns. In hindsight I still stick with the notion that this forum is slow, but I overreached when I said the majority doesn't know much. I guess I should say that a majority doesn't SPEAK much, but again, still overreaching since I've only been here a month. Hell, it may just be easier to tell everyone not to touch the idle mixture screw rather than teach them the idle drop method when you do something like change exhausts/intakes.

Look , I thought you would have realized by now that the best thing to do here is NOTHING !
Don't suggest anything and most importantly , do nothing and then it's happy days and less chance of upsetting someone who obviously knows much , much more than us mere mortals  ;D
Adjoining cells me thinks for us , mere mortals
