GV650 Not starting
« on: May 25, 2018, 08:06:40 PM »

Hey Guys,
I stored my GV650 over winter (Canadian) with some fuel preserver. Took it out this spring and it started just fine.
Over the last week it has needed a little longer and longer warming up in the morning before I could ride. It was pretty rough the other morning but I got it to work. It sounded like it was only going on one cylinder until warmed up fully. After work it won't start at all. Checked the rear spark plug and it was nasty but I cleaned it up. A little oil is leaking out the rear but very little. Checked the air filter it was good. Ideas?

Chuck some injector cleaner in a tankful of NEW fuel and go for a ride.
Keep that old fuel for the lawnmower.
Use the cleaner at twice the rate/litre that is recommended for cars.
