02 sensor bypass
« on: May 31, 2018, 03:26:15 AM »

I'm disabling the 02 sensors for tests purposes (unplug). And of course in getting the FI red light and the flashing FI on the display screen. I've read many other makes  have slot in resistors in the socket to fool the ECU thinking that the sensors are in place but I can't find these "how to" on Hyosung bikes.  Now how do I do it, what ohms and which slots? Anybody done this before?? Advices please.

For the heater bypass  330 Ohms, and for the signal bypass 1000 Ohms. Probably a watt or 2 for heater resistor. Wire for signal can be 1/2watt resistor. Just something i read somewhere, worst case scenario you get the light again, or a baked resistor.

I don't have an FI bike, so no pictures. Just a random tidbit I found about a different bike. if you look up the brand of ECU youll probably get a more specific answer based on that vs a hyosung specific answer.
