gt250r Clutch
« on: June 17, 2018, 09:16:09 PM »

Hello,

Anyone knowing a sitte that sells a clutch kit for my '10 bike? I need the steel and friction plates plus the springs.

Also, I'm living in Europe so it'd be great if you know someone who send it here faster.

Does the first/last plate matter for this bike? Are they different?

Also, what are the torque specs.

Thanks!

http://hyosungsource.com have a really good range of spares.

Magusy, what's wrong with your clutch anyway? I can't recall having heard of a 250 clutch failing..

p.s. torque specs for the clutch spring bolts is 8Nm.

Hi,

My clutch is making a rumbling noise when I pull in the lever. It sounds like a bad car's flywheel when you press the clutch.

I investigated on internet and I think it's the clutch.

Another issue is that the clutch arm( the one that the clutch cable is moving) is very far out. Normally it has to stay at a 90% angle. Mine is stretched so much toward the cable.

Let me know your thoughts.

EDIT: I checked the link you provided. It amazes me that it is cheaper to buy the whole clutch assembly, bolts and clutch basket included than the repair kit.

That's the thrust bearing.

That's the thrust bearing.

The thrust bearing is the one behind the clutch basket?

Couldn't find a repair manual for 250r
