A good site for parts is http://hyosungsource.com

As for adjusting the clutch cable, start at the engine side and make it as tight as you can, then work your way up to the adjuster on the handlebar.

The noble goal is to have 1mm of free play on the cable before there is any action, from there fine tune with the adjuster on the clutch lever.

Ohh and just to add to your frustrations, your problem sounds a lot like a faulty side stand safety switch.

Consider eliminating it for testing.

Just short it out and bin it  ;)
Happy days .
That piece of shit (side stand switch) caused my bike to just cut out at 175Kph . Not funny .

If the engine is shutting off when you put it in gear it is probably the safety switch. If the clutch really needs adjusted as there is too much or too little free play it can be adjusted at the rod down by the engine. One other tid bit. Make sure you are using engine oil that works with an oil bath clutch

When did you last change the engine oil?

I noticed that at low engine oil levels, it was difficult to switch to neutral.

You might have better luck getting a Suzuki clutch cable, alpha-sports has part numbers and exploded views of the motorcycle if you need help identifying or ordering a part.
