New to Korider. My 07 GT250R modified
« on: June 30, 2018, 08:47:14 PM »

This is how my 2007 Hyo Gt250r looks today.
I took off all the fairings, custom built a bracket to hold the Guage cluster, installed dual round headlights with led bulbs, shorty red levers, bar end mirrors, new grips, fender eliminator, kenda cruiser tires. Chopped the front fender smaller and repainted, red reflective rim tape.
Custom made a small switch panel on the triple clamp with a button to operate my garage door, and the other button will operate the small fog lights I will be installing

G'day MotoFairfield!

Bike looks amazing. Lots of really cool details, like the side stand and the bracket to hold the gauge cluster!

The button idea is a good one also.

Are you from the Fairfield area? ..I'm near Marconi.

Hey MotoF, very cool! I've just bought a 2009 GT250 Comet and plan to make it look similar!
The upgraded levers and side-stand are cool, but not my thing. Love what you've done with the front fender though, stock is so bulky! I've ordered one that suits a 448 Harley and plan to make a custom bracket to hold it.
Dual headlights are cool, and exposed cluster is cool too. I'm going to try and shoehorn the instrument housing from the 2013 gt250 to tidy the back of it up a little.

No pics from the back? Love these machines with fender eliminators... Have you done anything with brake light?

Cool job mate, very nice!

Oh sweet! I've never seen that style before! Ties in nice with the rest of the bike.

Next on my list is to install the exhaust wrap I got in, get a new slip on exhaust, and fiberglass a smaller Cafe racer style rear-end.

Wow, big difference! Too be honest it probably would've been a lot less work if you'd started with the gt250 comet, but the result is still pretty awesome!

Not a big fan of exhaust wraps... I'm going to try and paint mine black.
Would be keen to see what you do with the back end... That'll be interesting
