Does anyone know where I can get a chain converstion kit for a GV650 in the UK?

Any particular reason you want to convert to a chain? Just curious.

Yeah I was thinking about running my bike on aviation fuel or even margarine if anyone knows of any conversion kits kicking around  ;D
Don't tell me they don't exist because I know they do  ::)
May even convert my bike to a tricycle , if there is a conversion kit kicking around  ;D

It makes financial sense to convert to chain.

The belts are hell expensive and the tensioners for the belt are very pedantic about the way theya re tensioned. If you don't tension them right, they chew out the belt sprockets and you break the belt prematurely.

In summary, a belt and a pair of sprockets will set you back close to $800. A chain conversion is a third that price.

Interesting! Guess you learn something new. I always understood that belts were supposed to be more reliable; etc.

They are, if you tension them correctly.
