hyosung gt 125 2013 running bad low rpm
« on: July 08, 2018, 05:38:42 PM »

hi, I have bought a Hyosung gt 125 a month or so ago and recently I have noticed that when coming off the freeway and stopping at a red light the bike will not be idling that well, the rpm will jump around a bit and occasionally stall. When the light turns green the throttle response is really bad and the bike hesitates quite a bit. It will jump forward a bit and almost stall and then jump forward some more and almost stall again, after a few meters the bike will be around 6k rpm and will be working the way it should, as if nothing happened. It seems it only happens when the engine is warmed up or after a while with more that 50% throttle. The bike has done about 9000km and has had a service at 4000km.
So from 1-5k rpm it will hold back quite a bit and then open up and jidder in a way, after that the bike runs perfect from 5- 13k rpm. Have done 4000km this month and haven't had this problem.

The vid explaining what the problem is is right there. Help is appreciated lol.

Running rich at idle. It's like having the choke on a bit.
