Bike won't start Bad Starter??
« on: July 11, 2018, 02:07:47 AM »

Took my bike for a long ride with unbalanced carbs, rattled the battery bolts loose 75 miles into the ride and towed it home. It's been in storage for the past 6 months. Just bought a new battery to try and get her to start. How crappy are the Hyosung starters?

Short the main terminals on the starter relay and see if the motor spins and if it doesn't ,it's probably facked .
Could also be wring or motor brushes but by shorting the relay out , you are putting juice straight to the starter ( if the cables are OK  ::) ).
BTW my GT had 30,000K's and the starter was fine .

2010 carby comet, the carbs are so unbalanced! with the AF screw backed all the way out the back cylinder still sucks all the oil from the front cylinder home made manometer. No vacuum leaks, sprayed soapy water all over it.
