gv650 oil filter
« on: August 19, 2018, 11:02:53 PM »

Hello all,
Just picked up a 2008 GV650 and so far like it a lot. Only question is, does anyone have ideas on other oil filters you can get for the bike other the the HiFlo HF681?
Looking to see if i can pick up something local instead of ordering online all the time. Thanks for any and all info.
  Happy riding. 8)

With some things such as filters , I find it easier just going to Hyosung to get them .
Also get the 'O' rings too , just in case you damage one when removing the filter and always a good idea to replace them anyway. Don't forget to smear some oil on them   ;)
Get over to Korider cafe and introduce yourself with pics of the bike  :)

If you have the time (not because you are a scrooge), you can just wash them in a jar of petrol and re-use them.

Yea you can also save the some of the oil from the old filter and that should save you 29 cents .it wont be easy squeezing the oil out but if are a tight arse like Hylife says , go for it .
