My tips
« on: August 20, 2018, 11:00:26 AM »

Anyway , I am bored and due to fly back to the shit hole tomorrow so no more lengthy posts from me for a couple of weeks so thought I would give my thoughts on my latest endeavors .
My first tip (which I saw on YouTube) was cleaning up your carbon fiber can with WD40 or CRC . It worked a treat with one of the Mrs. scouring pads and definitely recommended to bring the sparkle back to your exhaust .Autosol is also amazing at getting the chrome parts looking good .
Second tip , CRC  Liquid Armour for cleaning and bringing a shine to fairings and anything really . It smells lovely too  (in a non feminine way)  :o.
I am also putting a pic up of my De Badged bike which I think looks amazing and goes well to boot  8).
Lets have your tips .

One I have mentioned before is Turtle Wax Ice synthetic polish - it can be used on paint, chrome, plastic and even glass, and protects everything without any of the usual white residue.  I particularly like that it cleans and protects black plastic parts really well.

You put the polish on a sponge applicator and just wipe it over everything (except seat, grips and brakes of course!) then polish off.

I take it the lettering on the tank was not under the clear coat on yours?

The tank was like that when I bought it.
I just removed all the stickers off the fairings etc when I had to respray one side.

I think the Hyosung seat is pants .
It's as slippery as a bar of soap and it feels like you are sat on top of the bike .
Anyway , had a spare seat so I thought , lets see what we can do so I proceeded to rip off the foam and replace it with some 6mm closed cell foam .
It doesn't look brilliant but this is just a trial until the neoprene comes next week .
This seat is amazing with so much grip and you also are in a much better riding position .

It's actually OK .
More comfortable having complete control of the bike while not sliding here , there and everywhere .
That seat they supply is way to foamy and slippery .
I will be keeping this style until I get rid of it and then I'll just put the old seat back on .
Cost me $30 for a second hand seat and about $9 for the foam from Bunnings .
Try it , what do you have to loose ($39 to be exact but whose counting  ::))?
I will bet money you would prefer it and it's hot glue time time for fixing it   ;)
PS  I got the idea after seeing my friends Triumph Track bike with the same thing ( He has 3 of them , 2 for the road and 1 for the track ) and he swears but it so why not give it a go and it works well on the road .
