Need urgent help with 300 GT125R
« on: October 13, 2018, 07:27:00 PM »

I have multiple issues with this bike, i love it but unfortunately it's giving me a lot of issues.

One issue is the bike only seems to want to run on full choke.

Another is that smoke comes out of the front cylinder.

The indicators don't blink, but stay on like headlights.

The bike does not shift into second.

The front brake lever is very loose, so is the clutch lever.

Seems to die when i open the throttle.

Brakes don't work (Possibly just air in the brake system)

Right rear indicator does not work.

Tachtometer lights only seem to work up until 7k RPM

There is a Y shaped tube which looks to me like a vacuum just not connected to anything.

Would you say it's worth repairing it or should i just sell it/ part exchange it?

Also how can i add photos and videos?

I've also found this black and brown wire on the left side of the motorbike and don't really know what it's for, anyone shed some light?

Could be a side stand safety switch delete.

cheers pal, i'll post a picture tomorrow but the little box under the rear seat cover which houses two fuses only has wires (2 thicker red wires) going to one of the two fuses, for the record the fuses are light blue 15's. and i think its because of this why my left rear blinker doesn't work and my blinkers don't blink as i don't think it's completing a full circuit, please correct me if i could be wrong.

Have you checked the flasher relay? If the flashers are lighting up, that means that they are getting power, but if they are not flashing, it would indicate that the flasher relay has a fault.

I don't really know where to locate it to be honest pal, i've googled it and it does seem to be a flaher relay problem, could you tell me where i could find it? and also a problem im having with the indicators is they don't blink and i cant have both rear inidiocators connected at once, i will clarify tomorrow if it doesn't rain.

But basically the wires to the rear left indicator just dont seem to work, when wired to the wires from the right indicator the left indicator works but leaves the right disconnected. once again i'll clarify with pictures and videos tomorrow.
