Hello,

after about 180km my GT250i (2011; 16500km) suddenly stopped at a crossroads. After that it could hardly be started and with a noisy engine and almost without power I saved the last kilometers home. When I parked the bike, I saw through the rear exhaust opening that the inside of the exhaust glowed bright red, the outside is now discolored. The diagnostic mode tells me C25, i.e. malfunction of the ignition coil of the rear cylinder. The problem is only that the resistance values of this ignition coil are within the normal range, i.e. 4.1 Ohm on the primary side and 30kiloOhm on the secondary side. Do you have any hints or experiences on what to do now?

Swap coils and see if the fault follows .

It was indeed the ignition coil of the rear cylinder. I mounted an ignition coil of a GV250i. Then I had to try very often to start the machine but now it runs like before.
