Hyosung gt125r Running problems PLEASE HELP

hi, my bike has started a major problem were it will start and run in neutral but when i click in to any gear she dies!!?? and she will only start again in neutral, sometimes she runs okay but mostly im stuck!!

also is rain majorly last week and since then she takes longer than normal to for the revs to come down so she is running a tad high and my back number plate light has started to flash with the engine speed???

Sounds like your kickstand sensor has broken. Basically your bike thinks the kickstand is always down, meaning that it will die immadiately when you put it in a gear. It's just a broken safetysystem. I've heard it's quick to fix, I remember there's threads in this forum regarding how to fix it. I'm not sure about the other problems you described.

..then do it again, 'cause it's definitely the kickstand sensor.

Double check your work, maybe even re-cut and re-join the two wires and follow the wires back to their loom connection to make sure that it's plugged in.

It's cut and dried. Only one thing can explain those symptoms.

On second thoughts, it could also be that the join is touching the frame. You might be getting an earth leakage from the kickstand sensor wire. Check that the join is also properly covered and not touching the frame.
