How to get airbox back on!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey guys I recently bought a 2010 hyosung gt250r EFI and I was putting it together and realized that I could not get the airbox on I tried everything smashing it down using ratchet straps to pull it down taking the throttle body boots off and putting them on the throttle body and trying that smashing it lubricating it hitting it hammering it I've tried everything please let me know whar you guys know. Anything will help at this point

I don't have a carby model but the EFI just pushes in . Can't remember having any hassle with it .
Are you sure you've put it back together correctly ?
Don't think it's such a good idea hitting shit out of it with a hammer BTW .

Yes I'm sure im putting it back together right but it just doesn't want to fit and I don't know what to do

Hardest job.

Harder than a gearbox rebuild.

Disconnect intake manifolds from cylinder heads, keep them clamped haaard to the carbs. Lift carbs to air box, jam it all together, clamp it all hard. Then finally bolt the manifolds back on the cylinder heads.

How will I bolt them back to cylinder heads once it's all put together there will be no space

I haven't done a Carby air box but that's hard to believe  :o

Yeah nah give me a gearbox rebuild in sub zero temperatures any day.

The air box is a shit.

Ah but would it be easier doing it in sub zero temps , at night , wearing sunglasses......with a bad hangover  ;D

No this isn't a carb model it's a 2010 EFI when we say carbs were talking about the throttle body

At least I hope that's what we're talking about and I don't know how I'm going to be able to get the throttle body back onto the cylinder after
