got a issue with starting
« on: November 24, 2018, 07:49:26 PM »

cold or not cold

when I try start even in cold can take nearly 10 times of starting for it to start but if I was to go petrol station it still struggle to start for 10seconds before it will start

is this a carb issue I have got because I ready to just trade the bike in for a fi bike and get rid of carb as I spent enough in 2weeks of owning it and feel like setting the bike on fire its a 2016 gt125r with 9000miles

today went shop on bike and 2minutes later took 1minute for it to start so is this a carb problem

im tempted taking the loss of trading it for a yzf125 fuel injection

I brought some seafoam and added it to the tank so will see if it sorts the problem if it doesn't ive had enough I be getting rid of it

fitted new fuel lines and filter and spark plugs and fresh fuel with seafoam

im hoping seafoam fixes the carb issue

Such a new bike should still have warranty!

*face palm*.

Seriously, start with the easy stuff... Compression, Fuel, Spark. It will be one of the three. Although its only 9K miles, if its been rode to the rev limit for every gear change *wink wink nudge nudge* I'd be starting at compression.
