Skadamo! What did you do to me???
« on: November 18, 2004, 10:03:53 AM »

I was just hanging out and chillin' at svrider.com and there you are with this crazy site! What the heck??? Korean riders???

Good to see somebody's doing this for fellow Koreans. Way to go, dude! :D

Oh, yeah. Introduce.

I was born and raised in Korea for 27 years. Moved to Houston, Texas about five years ago.
Started from 125cc dirt bike 16 years ago.(yeah, that's right. I'm an old fart!) I've had my first four bikes in Korea.
Last one was ZXR400. That was a fun bike. Now I have '01 SV650S, red babe. Thinking about work on her a little bit and take her out to track sometime next year. That'll be soooo sweet and she'll be very happy.

Nice meeting ya'll and keep in touch!

Nutmeg,

You are officially my favorite registered user!! :thumb:

Hey, I really don't want to kill all your enthusiasm....but....uhhh....I'm not Korean and I set up the site more to talk about Korean motorcycles.  8-[  Korean are most likely the best source for info on Korean bikes so if the site turns into a place for Korean bikers to meet and discuss so be it.

Thanks for all the great compliments and I better see you post here again!!! [-o<   There are a lot of ladies riding the Comet 250 in the states.  I'm sure they will be happy you are out here posting.  There are not enough girls on bikes.  and you dirt bike too!  You rock =D>

BTW...I currently own an SV650 and I love it.  Are you willing to trade that sv in for a Comet when they show up?

Unfourtunately, don't know much about Korean bikes. I'm more into Italian bikes, rode motely Japanese bikes.

I thought about getting RC 51. Then again I had to give up my sv, so that kinda stopped me. I love my bike. Still I would like to own a race bike though. Aprilia RS 250 would be perfect size for me.

Stopped riding dirt bike a while ago. I'm 5'2" and can't reach the ground on most dirt bikes. I even had to lower my sv.

By the way, how did you get into Korean bikes???? Those Korean bikes awfully look like SVs. Is that why you like them so much???  :D

The fact that they look like sv's definitly caught my eye.  Then I found out they had more torque and hp.   =D>  There is a lot of scattered info out there about these bikes and I am hoping to make it easier to find for everyone interested.  I love motorcycles and I saw an opertunity to make good use of all my hours on the net.  Hopfully it will also help out my two wheeled bruthas...and sistas. :thumb:

Get the Aprilia!!!!  Are those street legal?

I don't know what it is. I did the same thing at svrider and it worked just fine. I know the file size has to be smaller than svrider(it's 80x80, 6KB, right?). I believe I did everything I suppose to.(or not?)  What is it with me and uploading photos online? Maybe I'm not suppose to be seen.... Come on! I'm not THAT butt ugly. :(

No Parking Space

Hi NutmegChoi

I am here on Jeju Island and ride a GT250; this is also where Nutmeg and mace grows in Korea.

The GT/GV bikes are very similar to Suzuki Bikes, the frame on the 125/250 GT is like a GS500F and the GT650 is similar to the SV650(s) and the V-Storm650 in many ways.

The Avatar: you need it parked on the net some place and link to it as this group does not have any parking space, sort of like Korea in that way.

Thanks for writing me. Your bikes look very unique.... The GT is almost look like a coustom made. How much mod did you do?
Must be nice to ride around Jeju island. I've been there once before about 8-9 years ago. I remeber there were a lot of nice curves. The weather stays warm most the time too, right? Beautiful place. How long have you been there? How do you like Korea? Houston sucks for bike riding.
I gave up on trying to link the sites to upload pictures. I was trying to place an image from my computer onto my profile. That seemed not working, either.
As you notice, I kinda suck at parking. What can I say, my avatar is going to be a big question mark. Just like me.  8-[
