Was wondering if there were any other Melbournians around... I'm in Oakleigh, half way between the hills and the city. Might be up for a ride one of these days (commuting 12kms to and from work is not quite riding, but I still do it everyday).

Maybe once we find a few more Melbourne Hyos we should organize a regular meetup somewhere.

There's always the regular netrider.net.au meets, but yeah a Hyo-specific gathering would be sweet!

From Melton to Dandenong... now we just need someone from Phillip Island and someone from Seymour, and we'll have the city covered. So where would we meet? A pub could be out of the question (L-plates for me as well), and most cafe's seem a little too... Ducati. Open to suggestions though...

oz650r, you ride the 250 for fuel savings, or are you L-plated as well?

we dont just have to meet up to have drinks or coffee, we can meet anywhere just to go for a cruise together.

I'm not on L's.  I'm on P's but have been riding on and off for about 14 years.  Was just to lazy to get a licence.  I have about 9 months left on my power restriction.  I ride the 250 so I dont get to many K's up on the 650 and for the cost saving  chains, tyres, fuel.

If we could get a few more people in I would be intrested in a sunday? ride.  Kinglake, Healsvile Dandenongs???

Hey guys, not in Melbourne, as you can see.
You could still go to the cafes....get a Ducati sticker (or whatever your favorite bike is) and place it over the Hyosung sticker and con them that it's a new model whatever
WHAT !!!! A Ducati 250???? Cool !!!!
Hey, it's a V-twin, they'd never pick it.
cheers
